Bed Linen, The Mistake of Buying Cheap
Looking fora a perfect night’s sleep in from bedroom items in a Bargain basement sale is an impossible task. There is no cheap alternative to our ranges of hand-made Italian Bed Linen. You may find pretenders like mass produced items from the Far East (could we be a more vague and less racist here?) may look and feel good in the shop but they tell a different story after one wash.
Buying Inferior Cotton.
The best manufacturers of luxury bed linen are from Italy, Switzerland and France.
What makes it luxurious is the use of top quality Egyptian cotton (or Pima Cotton from the U.S.) You need to understand that there are ways to mix inferior cotton with a small amount of Egyptian cotton and brand it Egyptian.
Testing your linen.
The relationship between you and your bed linen is of a personal and intimate nature. It is not something you use once a month or a week. So we ensure that you can touch and feel your bed linen before you purchase it.
The different weaving techniques produce a different sensation with different linens.
Percale cotton is crisp and fresh whereas Sateen cotton is silky and soft.
This is not a decision to be rushed.
